You are swimming, drowning in nerve endings that rattle within, with their tails that sting and their heads that pound hard against the walls of your chest. They fill your lungs with the murky waters that take your breath and cloud your mind with the poisonous venom that eats your thoughts. You become paralysed and stand on the edge of a world that is shaking from below. Pores of sweat form a pool in the palm of your hands whilst your vision is snatched from sight. Doors shut around you and before you know it, you are clenching the grip of your surroundings, of the inside box you find yourself in. You try to catch your breath but you are swimming, drowning from the nerve endings that rattle within.
